A Friend of A Friend
Celebrate Black History Month at our latest exhibition featuring resident artists and guests for a moving show that celebrates African American heritage.
In honor of Black History Month, resident artists Yolanda Wisher, Acori Honzo, Sharif Pendleton, Femi Oluwafemi (representing Tiny Room For Elephants) whose work celebrates African American history and culture will exhibit alongside guest artists Erlin Geffrard, Shanel Edwards, Scott Owens, and Kara Hinson whose work carries similar themes. The show speaks to the way the exhibition was curated but also references the phrase “A Friend of A Friend” used by passengers on the Underground Railroad to identify themselves in the Philadelphia region and eventually all along the railroad.
