Portside on the Pier Summer Arts Camp
It’s time to create! Resident artist organization Portside Art Center will host 4 weeks of half-day, day camps at the Pier from June 27 through July 29 for students ages 6 through 10. Families have the option to sign up for just one week of camp, or all 4 weeks. Learn more and sign up today.
Now in its second year, Portside on the Pier Summer Arts Camp is a small peek into the daily life of a professional artist. Originally an old municipal pier on the Delaware River Waterfront, Cherry Street Pier has been converted to house modern-day artist studios, gallery space, and bright airy public areas. The mixed-use public space hosts a variety of classes, exhibitions, and events throughout the year.
Students in this small (10 child capacity) camp will get daily inspiration from surrounding professional artists and will work and play in the open-air pier. During hotter days, students will spend their days creating in Portside’s private air-conditioned studio.
Cost: $200 per week
10% sibling discount. Payment plans are available online.
