Opening: Edith Zapata’s “Coexistence,” April 4 – April 29
Join us for the Cherry Street Pier debut exhibition by studio artist Edith Zapata, “Coexistence.” It will be on display from April 4 through April 29, with an opening reception on April 4 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Opening: Second Annual ‘Eggy’ Art Show Curated by The Craft Coven, April 4 – April 30
Opening reception April 4 from 4 pm to 5 pm. Exploring the theme of ‘Eggy,’ Craft Coven founder and CEO (Craft Experience Organizer) Cassie Jones(programming partner in residence), along with other Coven members, will depict broad interpretations of the theme in mediums like paint, fired clay, metals, papier mache, and fiber arts.
Poetry at the Pier: A Night of Spoken Word and Open Mic, April 4 from 5 pm – 7 pm
Join us at Cherry Street Pier on April 4 from 5 pm—7 pm for an evening of poetry, community, and creative expression. Featuring a dynamic lineup of poets sharing their work against the stunning backdrop of the Delaware River, this event will encourage conversation, reflection, and inspiration.
Free First Friday Workshop with Bonnie MacAllister, April 4 from 5 pm – 7 pm
Join studio artist Bonnie MacAllister for a free workshop in her studio (Studio 16) during First Friday
Ticketed: Art History Create and Sip, First Fridays, 7 pm – 9 pm
Join resident artist Amy Kelly (Studio 8) for a lesson about an artist from history and then paint a work inspired by their medium. Contact Amy at 47earrings@gmail.com or visit her website to register for the classes. The class is held from 7 pm to 9 pm—registration required. Must be 21+ to consume alcohol.
