Sunday, February 16, 2025, 1 pm – 3 pm: Learn Botanical Dye Techniques – Create a Kerchief
Using fresh and dried flowers, create an original surface design using various botanical printing techniques. Flower pounding, also known as tataki zome, is an ancient Japanese technique that uses flowers and plants to create prints on fabric or paper. The process involves pounding flowers with a hammer to release their natural dyes onto the material. Cost: $25. Register Today.
