SuperGameDay: Pier Takeover 2024
Join us for Super Game Day: Pier Takeover 2024 on May 25 and again on September 14 from 12 pm to 9 pm at Cherry Street Pier. It is free and open to the public, and all ages are welcome.
Get ready for an electrifying SuperGameDay return to the Pier, offering a free event packed with excitement. Dive into the heart of the city’s largest fighting game tournament, featuring battles in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mortal Kombat 1, Street Fighter 6, and Tekken 8, hosted by Origin of Play and Iron Phist Philly. Competitors can join the fray with a $10 entry fee for Tekken 8 and $15 for the other titles.
The event is not just for gamers; it also boasts vendors, cosplay, and a raffle where participants will have a chance to win a Nintendo Switch Lite. Attendees can also enjoy a family-friendly movie screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), PG.
