Visit PA New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Waterfront
As the grand finale of Philadelphia’s holiday season, ring in 2025 with the biggest and brightest fireworks show in the area. Enjoy the vibrant show set to an exhilarating soundtrack to start the New Year unforgettably.
6 pm Show: “A City’s Symphony”
This show is a vibrant tapestry of sound and light, evoking the spirit of Philadelphia. The soundtrack features a curated selection of iconic scores: “This City” (Patrick Stump), a soaring piece celebrating Philadelphia’s essence; the triumphant “Gonna Fly Now” from Rocky, a nod to the city’s resilience; ethereal selections from E.T., Sound the Bells, and Star Wars, highlighting Jodie’s love for John Williams’ compositions; and more. The visual spectacle reflects this musical journey, using colors representing the city’s flag, and incorporating special “nautical” fireworks – a tribute to Jodie’s penchant for unique pyro effects and her favorite colors – pink and green.
Midnight Show: “A Celebration of Life”
The midnight show is a joyous celebration of life, music and Philadelphia’s vibrant spirit. The musical journey is filled with energetic and feel-good tunes, from Mariah Carey’s “Auld Lang Syne” to a mix of beloved pop anthems from Whitney Houston, Billie Eilish, Imagine Dragons, and more. The soundtrack will take the audience on a life journey, highlighting various chapters and experiences. The fireworks display matches the soundtrack’s uplifting energy, culminating in a dazzling rainbow finale – another touch inspired by Jodie’s creative vision.
