Cherry Street Pier resident artist Caroline Stoughton hosts a solo exhibition at Side Street Gallery

We’re excited to share that resident artist Caroline Stoughton will host a solo exhibition at Side Street Gallery in November.

Caroline will display her gorgeous works in a special exhibition titled “Closer Than You Imagine,” which invites you into a vibrant world of dreams and desires through color. Her signature style captures the delicate interplay between aspiration and reality. At the same time, her work challenges us to reconsider our perceptions – what we seek may already be present, blossoming quietly in the background.

The exhibition features paintings that meld rich, organic foliage with unexpected animal prints, as seen in the wild, symbolizing the interconnectedness of our dreams and our existence.

“Closer Than You Imagine” will be on view from November 8 to November 30, 2024, at Side Street Gallery, 812 Chestnut Street Studio 2E, Philadelphia, PA.

A portion of the proceeds from painting sales will be donated to the  Alzheimer’s Association in support of Stoughton’s “The Longest Day” campaign — an initiative dedicated to raising funds for research and awareness in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.

An opening reception featuring an artist talk will occur on November 8 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
