Zach Galifianakis’s characters in the movies Due Date, Bored to Death, and The Hangover franchise.

The creative/artistic life can often feel isolating. What do you do to counteract that? Listen to podcasts all day.

What’s your personal mission or vision?
Survive 2020.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
The ability to meditate more frequently, and, at will.

Name three artists to whom you’d like to be compared. Why?
Edward Hopper. Rembrandt.  Van Gogh.  They made some noise.

Is cereal soup? Why or why not?
No. You put cereal in liquid.  It’s not the liquid.

What would you consider one of Philadelphia’s best-kept secrets?
The Italian Pulled Pork sandwiches at DiNic’s in Reading Terminal.

What kind of secret society would you like to start?
Best-Selling Authors Anonymous.

What’s your favorite piece of art that you didn’t create?
My girlfriend’s two daughters.

What was the most memorable response someone has had to your work?
“Do you have that in red?”
